"We should not resort to violence even if we have differences between the parties," he said.

"This fellow in the crowd with a knife in his hand attempted to stab the president in his stomach," a government spokesman said. But a 15-year-old boy came in the way and grabbed the knife. One brave boy saved the president's life."

I came across this article on MSN , and thought that the young lad showed strong courage when he saw the man with the knife. It makes you wonder, if let's say we were to see somebody being threatened-'Would we intervene, like the boy did', or just stand by and ignore it. I would hope that the majority would try and live by the boy's example.

I put the quote from the article as the title, as it makes a very good point. Our differences regardless of who we are, or where we may be doesn't need to be resolved with violence.

We should appreciate each other's differences and strive to work together for the whole of humanity.
